Primary Competitiveness

The Primary Competitiveness view shows the how competitive each district primary is using a state map. Illustrating competitiveness is accomplished by shading each district using team colors. For example, in the Red Team primary for state house, if a district is filled in with dark blue (the blue team color), then the red team has no candidates in that district primary. If the district is colored light red, then there is a red team candidate, but the primary is uncontested. Dark red indicates that there are two or more candidates in the district primary. The view concludes with a breakdown of districts based on whether they have no candidates in the contest, one candidate, or two or more candidates.
