The General Election Page gives you access to 6 statewide contests and 250 legislative contests (14 US House, 56 State Senate, and 180 State House). To the left of each contest name is a colored badge. The badge indicates in the most general sense which party won a contest and by how much. Darker colors mean the win margin was larger whereas lighter colors mean the win margin was small. Red is the color of the Republican Party, the Red Team. Blue is the color of the Democratic Party, the Blue Team. In some cases (one case in 2022), the badge is both blue and red. A two color badge means that no candidate won the race with a majority of the vote. The party that won the plurality has its color on the top of the badge. The Libertarian party, though present in most statewide contests, does not amass sufficient votes to factor into the badge design. In order to explore the details of a contest, tap the contest name.
